Happy Spring!

I know i look young... i kinda do it to myself  without realising because thats how i feel comfortable inside... I like wearing mens sweaters because they are loose and comfortable... it does make me look like a tramp but i'm a student..i don't really care anymore lol!  I do loveeeeeeeee this snap back though... it was my friends and he gave it to me as a birthday gift about 2 years ago because i kept trying to steal it!! :p I don't really know what happened to him... we were always good friends so maybe when he got a girlfriend..he cut me out... mehh... story of my life..i expect it when i have dudes as friends! moving on :)

Because its the start of spring, i wanted to take a moment to remind you all of new beginnings... Spring is when the snow melts, the flowers start to bloom.. the trees grow back their leaves and its warmer and sunnier again!! and we get more day light... ahhhhh.. isn't it just nice?!!

So no its not a the beginning of the year but u can still start a new habit only because the new life around us and sunlight just makes us more happy!! Starting a new fitness regime... well u can run outside...its not too cold anymore...new colours to your wardrobe, new room furniture and clean your room out of junk...new make up, new accessories.. new hair colour... ( hmmm should i change my hair colour..or at least get a hair cuttt!!!??) or it could be start a new beginning with a friendship or a relationship... if you have had enough time to mull over it and both parties are better than who they were before you fell out/broke up... why ot give it a try? Orrrr... get yourself out on the dating scene and try something new!!! speed dating? getting set up? go to a bar... orr sign up to a dating website!! HEY DON'T JUDGE lol.. i did it once! :p

2013.. Hi again...

Yo! it's been awhile.... What have i been doinggg all this time?!!! Well... as you can see.. not getting a haircut for one!! I went from hippy hair to just a plain vagabond now...there has to be something done to this hot mess but i'm soooo lazy to go to the hair salon!!! >_< The last time i cut it was january 2012!!! one yr one month ago! someone slap me plz...

Anyhow... hows life? There really hasn't been anything new with me really... oh wait, i turned 25 on 16 january couple of weeks ago... That was a depressing day lol... especially thanks to the people reminding me i'm quarter of a century year old now! :'(

Ermm...my life has 2 focuses... my studies and my God... I have been unbelievably blessed since last year.. according to my chinese zodiac and being double rabbit and dragon...i was suppose to have 2 years of terrible luck... but dispite the challenges i had to face at the beginning of 2012, everything did get better..i was more myself..i settled into who i manifested into...and i like her... i was rejected from a place on my course now and prayed so hard and his miracles changed the deans mind about me and he funded my place...how blessed am i to have met some amazing people since october when i started my studies...and of my first term... i even got an A on my first design project and a B on my first essay... these things just don't happen to me...at ever step of the way...i prayed for help when i struggled...he never left my side...never...even when i did, his arms were wide open...man... That is what real love is... :)

It was vision sunday today at church...they handed out to everyone this bracelet which means in latin " The mission of God" they played an inspirational film made of real peoples lives and struggles in real worlds in new york, london, kiev and melborne... and really...it was so nice...made me remember my purpose again...to be the hands and feet of Christ and love others as he loved me...

So basically... i am working on a project right now that is super challenging but also..because i was called to do this..i know i can do my best in his name... lets have some faith snow!! :p

oh and i know i have new readers now so hi and i hope that in whatever you take away from my words...that can help you just a tiny bit... i'd have done what i was called to do through it.. help you ;)

Teaching Nishy how to blog!

Hey everyone!! So i'm at a cafe with my friend NISHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! :D and he has asked for a favour to teach him how to blog... He said that he has a lot of things to share with the world and reckons blogging is a good platform to begin with!! I ( of course) agree because thats how i started! :D so without further all do.. this is the first example to show him! I not only teach this guy how to blog, i am very wise haha! I teach him how to read the signs of flirting (men and women!), how to get out of an arranged marriage and what food is the most tastiest in the world!
:D Great teacher i know! :p lol!

University

it's about 2 weeks exactly that I'm studying at uni and yep I've kept it on the D low because I wasn't sure I'd successfully get in.. not that anyone is as happy as I am but I got in to a pretty prestigious institution and I'm so thankful to God for answering my prayers one after another!! :)

So what's it like being in 'school' again? probably the most awesome feeling ever!! uno I've studied most of my life.. and most of it was never for me..like I probably picked subjects I was good at but did I really wanna do it? being Asian, I did it for my parents, I felt like I owed them a good life and was purely motivated to please them with my A*'s and distinctions..but there was no satisfaction in the end...I mean I think I was brought up pretty well but honestly, I say 'screw to that way of thinking!' I don't know, I realized that after getting those top grades, I'd get put down for other things I wasn't good at I.e languages-I dropped out of Chinese school age 16 because never using the language and having to memorize the characters and do my GCSEs was too much for my slow brain to process!! I'm not saying if u live to serve your parents, that's a bad thing, but in my opinion, doing studies for your own ambition to further bigger and more global ambitions is probably more sustainable that the desperate hope of love and recognition from your folks!!

I see it this way... I've been pretty good and skilled in a lot of things I have learnt and experienced...however I think I'm pretty good at design and I haven't utilised my skills in this area to the potential it can grow...I had to step out of the continuous patterns in my life to really know what I want to do...so here I am! late night's at the library, not eating because I'm too busy, coffees after coffees and just that much more busier than usual! I have to say, first 2weeks have been pretty intensive! like I wanna do the activities n fun stuff but I've had no time! I've met some pretty awesome people tho..they make me laughhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! lol! so wish me luck.. let the good times roll..I'll keep y'all posted!

My goat!

Hey dudes and dudettes! I haven't blogged in awhle mainly due to my preferance of writing in my personal journal now... I'd bore u all anyways if i put it all on here, it's mostly about my journey with God and how much i think i'm changing... so here a post about my GOAT! lol!

anyone remember the movie 'Don't mess with the Zohan'? I loved it, the jokes in that movie was constantly reused when i used to work in the nutri centre! alot of them involving that Zohan stole my goat and that he was a very good goat! lol! well... i found my goat!! Sure he didn't listen to me when i told him to lead me to town and find us some food but he did climb a tree and pose for the picture! :p 

Awhile ago i mentioned i was gonna go on a lil vacation, well i went to an island i renamed ' the lemon tree island' there was just so many lemon trees there and it was an incredible land of peace for me and my friends... plus the wild life there was just a bonus! more animals than people lol! :p

Look at this beautiful sky in London I took a picture of today!! Even though it isn't warm and it's still winter... There was just something magical about the sky that I wanted to capture... Again...was taken on a camera phone...I gotta start carrying that cannon around..u never know when you'd find an awesome picture moment! ^_^ xxx

Morning guys and dolliezzz!! I've just got so many things to get all buzzed over, wel i had to express!!! :DDD

1stly...NYE!!! I dont even know what imma do after midnight, i just know im going to midnight mass at my church (I did it last yr and it was lovely to start the new yr spiritually inspired..) Still its 2012, reason to party!!!

i don't take pictures because it looks wild most of the time, not like this!!(that was right after i coloured it btw!!)

2ndly i'm getting my hair cut tomorrow!!!! :D It has been foreverrrr since i've been to a hair salon let alone pay for a haircut...but my lovely sister Di is treating me to a japanese haircut...she said they are really good so i can rest assure they dont cut whats unnesassary... It's still dark brown but still too difficult to mantain because it needs a cut!! my long shapeless lifeless hippy hair makes me so depressed!! >_<

3rdly someone awesomeeeeeeee is coming back from the far east today so i'm looking forward to my PRESENTS!! lol, im totally kidding,theres nothing i want that material other than a tv for my room so i can play my wii(gonna hustle one off my siblings for my bday son!lol|)What i really meant is I'm sooo lookin forward to seeing him again!! ^_^

4thly i'm going Dim Sum with my Fluffah Wifey tomo for lunch and a girly catch up!! Shes just cotton candy on a very tall stick, i love that girl to bits!!! ^_^

5thly... I'm feeling so much better today..i normally wake up to a horrible sharp stabbing headache since the crash but today i dont feel it!! :D and i am quite anti painkiller, i hate taking them so i try not to most of the time, i'm quite proud i soldiers alot of them pain without medication to hide the symptoms :D

5thly i recieved a call from the garage today giving me the estimated time of repairs to my baby paris..which is about 2 weeks and a half from now... but he said because my car is worth so much money, they will repair it as apose to writing it off... I"M SOOOO HAPPY ABOUT THAT, I LOVEE MY CAR!!! ^_^

So yea i can go on why i feel so awesome today but girls got things to do!!!

I was sitting by myself..minding my own business...when a couple of tourists asked me if they could take a photo of me...they found it fasinating by the way I was sitting O_o then I realised u don't often get a small oriental girl with legs crossed as if I was meditating...sitting in the heart of Liverpool St... Was a strange experience for London..I only get asked to take pictures with when I am abroad!!

Phase 23

 Saw down next to my little sister this morning and gave her the biggest shock... LOOOOLLL!! She actually had to do a double take and her reaction was sooo priceless!! She couldn't recognise me!!

 

 Look at who looks like your big sister nowww!!!! (i realise that the photo says otherwise O_o") For the longest time my ickle sister has been winning the 'who do u think is older' competition whenever we ask people who have never met one or the other before... and gosh it just sucks to be on the 'little sister end' all the timeee!!! Well not anymoreeee!!! :D Some of my friends are going to be so shocked to see me without the trade mark hair they've always known me to have...

What do u all think???!! :D well..i dnt really care if you prefer the old style... that was phase 21..i like the winter look!! :D

New Team Leader!

Hey guys and dolls!! I just wanted to share with you some cool news to me! I'm the newest Team Leader joining the Cafe service in my church! ^_^ lol.. yea probably not that exciting to you guys but kinda big deal to me!! Lemme walk you through..

I used to volunteer as a team member and help out whenever i can.. i have been doing it since the beginning of the yr at least once or twice a month and i did enjoy it because i was (still am) very shy in church and prefered to help out than to have to make conversation with strangers!! >_<

This sunday, the focus was on Moses and how God chose him to be a leader and lead the Israelites out of Egypt and perform miracles using Gods powers. However, moses wasn't sure of himself, he made about 5 excuses not to go or be chosen and well.. it reminded me of myself.. I had be offered the position a week ago but i didn't respond to it because i was not sure i'd be good at it, not sure wether i wanted to have some sort of permanent role in a church or that i would be able to put together a team of people to help me!! But the talk really gave me the push to take the position..God will guide me... I'm trying to be a YESman and not a NOman lol! So far its going great! I have a full team now and i have some great ideas on making cafe service i lead even more awesome! :D

Jump into a One Piece!!!

Hey Guys and Dollz!!! 

Last year, I came across an awesome line of clothing called OnePiece!! Now for all my anime heads out there, its got nothing to do with the Japanese manga and anime... Its actually a Norwegian brand of Onesies but for adults!!! Now when i was in uni, i had the same wishes for there to be a jumpsuit onsies that you can just snuggle into and feel comfortable, like you haven't even left the house yet!! And FINALLY, the Brand OnePiece was born in 2007 in Norway and eventually 2010- brought to the UK and U.S market!! I am so excited to get myself one!!

Now i have seen a mixed reaction to the public of the lifestyle brand itself.. is it cool, is it lame..is it just pure laziness to put on a hoody and sweat pants separately?!! My conclusion... It doesn't hurt to own a OnePiece for those extra cold and lazy days, think how 'Dress down Fridays' will be like in your office?!! To some extent, wouldn't it be cool to not be taken too seriously, or take anyone seriously when your rockin an almost Tellitubby outfit on the last working day of the week?!!

Everyday i'm shufflin!! :D

And how about partying in one of these jumpsuits?? Think student freshers mentality...When life was all about starting something new and partying non stop and basicially making some of the best memories of your life in your half child/half adult street wear?!!!

For me, some of those days where i feel like life is just too short to care what everyone else thinks...i would jump into my OnePiece and jus ( as my homeboi like to say) "ANG ABOUT!!" I think everyone should own one, old or young!! I remember when i was 20, i wanted my 21st birthday to be about fun and not growing up, but being young at heart... I did have the idea to have a onsies party back then when everyone one would come in a onsies and just have the most awesome party with me!! I only wished that the OnePiece was avalible to us back then...Sigh.. never mind.. There is ALWAYS my 24th birthday party ROCK BASHH!!!! :D

Scarf it UP!!!

I dunno about you guys..but i have been super freezing this past week because London has a very temperamental weather forecast!! I mean one minute its raining, then the sun is out, then its raining again..then its super wndy and raining!! I have been caught off guard a couple of times but still... The most annoy part about this weather is not the rain..but the cold!!! ITS SUMMERRR!!! O_o

And some of you might think its weird but i'm rockin scarves this summer!!! My humble and awesome mommy vuongy made me this awesome thick and long scarf a few days ago and i loveee it!! Who needs topshop £18 scarves when you have moms awesome skills.. It makes me think of her everytime i wear it and how much she loves me :) xxx

My Blonde Pony

Me and my friend nathan finished work one time and went to chill out somewhere close ( i made my rasta man wait for me to finish coz i used to always wait for him so we could catch up!) When to a place called Walthamstow marsh, and beyond the river, greenery and bushes, we got to a place ful of horses and ponys!! that was soo awesome!! And this one was my favourite, his hair was so blonde like mines!! so i did him a favour and braided his fringe so that he can see better.. It was so long it covered his eyes :( I gave him a lil quiff too.. awesome right?? :p

Vegan Feast

I went to this awesome vegan restaurant on soho st with my friend Ben. I was pretty shocked how nice the food was aswell!! Forgive me, i cant remember what is called but its right next to the hari kishna restaurant haha ( i actually walked into that one 1st and the portions were hue! might try that place another time!!) its like £2.00 for small bowls and £4 for large ones, i think!! and we got like 6 small ones to share, and you can pretty muuch choose any thing they make and stuff it onto the lil bowls!

So we ate real healthy that day, so to balance it out with some bad, we went for shisha later haha :p love it!! 

Countries i never knew existed!

Just a quick post to say i am always so amazed at the typa audience around the world i find stumbling onto my blog!! how does it happen... I don't normally check my blog stats but todays one caught my eye!! I don't even know where Azerbaijan is!!?!! Do you guys?? I'm not gonna google it, but can someone email me and let me know?!! its amazing and i own a world atlas, globe and the app on my iphone!! lol!! Go on, some be a wise ass and make me look stupid :D 

Killin time in apple..

Hey guys.. I'm just in Apple store right now... actually.. i've had a few problems with my mac lately so i wanted to get it checked out in case my baby dies on me and all my life is lost for good!! Gosh i need to invest in a super terrabyte external harddrive!!

So it seems to be all good and workin now..the people in this store are sooo nice!! one guy carried my work suitcase for me whiles walkin me to my appointment at the genius bar!! :) 

So let me update on my day... I worked in wigmore st today, to be honest i'm pretty terrified of the manaer there because he is emotionless and quite hitler scary because he gives me the vibes that he hates me... :s but everyones says thats just him..and actually..he was quite nice to me today..maybe coz i didn't dare leave the shop floor coz he might get pissed or sumfin!! 

The weather was nice today...quite warm and sunny and i had my lunch in the park...finished early today so i walked to the apple store to get my mac fixed!  and ermm yea, thats it.. pretty boring huh? thats why i dnt blog about work or anyfin no more...my job isn't exciting other than if i meet an extraordinary character!!

Damnnnn!!

I'm just parked up outside my friends house n I saw this car that's been blown up!! Wth man!! That musta been 1 big explosion or some evil person set it on fire!! That's jus mad!! I hope no one got hurt!! :( pains me to see that happen to a car...
