Losing hope and faith or reject it completely...
I remember so many times when i've asked people why they don't believe in God, 9 out 10 times, its because something happened in their life that wasn't fair in their life..or they feel suffering is allowed in the world therefore God doesn't exist because he lets these things happen...
I remember feeling all these same things, not understanding why but at the same time, was open to finding the answers given... I've read books, gone to talks and even did courses to ask my questions... When people lost hope and faith, maybe your honest life isn't going very well at the moment..or you've lost someone you though would never leave your life, or that you or they don't deserve to be treated the way you have and life is just not fair to you...
Listen to ourselves..How selfish can we get? When things go wrong we blame God, when things go right, we take credit for it..and forget about him who gave us blessings... Do you know why we can even question God in the first place? Because God gave mankind freewill.. He gave the ability to make our own choices and not made to live and worship him by default... It's like the very meaning of LOVE.. If the love is sincere and real, you would be with him/her.. if try to make someone love you, its not ever satisfying as if the person made the choice themselves... a Dog's love for its owner is sincere, a robot programsed to love its owner isn't..
Love cannot forced and thats why God gave us freewill.. so if we so find out paths to his love and love him back, then its real and sincere!! Now explaining freewill.. Why do bad things happen to good people? I understand life as we are all connected in the world... we are all part of one... Everyone has the ability to help the person suffering but do you want to? To do good or bad...it's all a choice... I believe in God so i also believe the devil exists.. so Good and Bad... you either choice to help you fellow brothers and sisters in humanity or not.. if every person on this earth chose to do the right thing and help eachother as God intended us to, would there be suffering? would there be blame of injustice?
How about murderers and rapists? If we start deciding that these people deserve to die, are we any better? We have all sinned in our lives... and it is because we have been given freewill.. choices to make in our lives.. good or bad.. 2000 odd years ago, we were saved... Jesus, the prophecised Christ layed down his life to taken on the sinned of the human race so that we can be forgive and build a relationship with God as clean and repented children of God... Everyone can be forgiven because of Christ... Child starving and dying in the world because rich countries choose not to help, everyone of us can do something but we don't... why then are you blaming God?? Sometimes i feel sad the world is full of bad choices and its getting worst and worst.. but i know that living and becoming a reflection of christ, i can make a difference... My actions and words play a part in affecting anyone who i ever come across... it is because God gave us freewill, that we always have to choice to say no to evil and yes to goodness.. I'm not perfect, i'm saying its easy..but i have hope and faith and i trust in God that he guides me throughout my life... it is already written, i just need to take the journey and God will see me and you throught the rest of the way! xxx
